Welcome to Mary Health — One Platform. Every Path to Care.

Bernard Ofosuhene

Chief Of Global Research Validation

Bernard is a research-execution athlete with an early-stage principal investigator trajectory. He has worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at UMass Medical School across cardiovascular, digital medicine, and orthopedics, contributing to projects on post-operative AFib inflammation pathways, remote monitoring after total knee arthroplasty, and deep neural networks predicting biological age from ECG waveforms in the UK Biobank for early dementia and Alzheimer’s detection. He has also contributed to molecular pharmacology research on S1PR4 signaling and muscular dystrophy, with manuscripts under review at Nature publications. Bernard built an automated Project Review Suite that streamlines NIH CAPCaT grant workflows, applying systems thinking to turn research administration into scalable infrastructure. He consistently improves study enrollment under challenging conditions, demonstrating trust-building, communication skill, and execution under constraint. Recognition includes an AHA Scientific Sessions poster (2024), International Stroke Conference (2025), and the Bernard J. Tyson Career Development Award (AHA, 2025). At Mary, he formalizes validation protocols, produces evidence artifacts stakeholders trust, and builds internal research operations capacity, making “clinically credible at scale” a reality rather than a slogan.
